This is a thick (over 1/4") solid bar of perfectly patterned flagstone harlequin that runs through to both sides and shows equally well on both sides. All sides of this opal are lined with brilliant vertical color bars that run to the top and bottom. Double sided polish with a 100,000 grit final polish to enhance the beauty of this prize. All individual flagstones on the top and bottom show neon hot color that play like a laser light show with the slightest movement of the opal. All colors of the rainbow show equally...super crisp and super vivid in a transparent crystal base of lustrous silky bluish white. This is a one of a kind opal...and as far as we know, the only Welo opal of this caliber found to date. This is a magnificent collectors piece that will hold top billing with any opal in the world.
