This is the rarest harlequin pattern of them all and it shows the pattern perfectly...crisp and vivid on both sides! The individual segments also show multiple color change which turn it into a proverbial kaleidoscope. All sides of this opal are lined with brilliant vertical color bars that run to the top and bottom. Double sided polish with a 100,000 grit final polish to enhance the beauty of this prize. All the individual hexagonal segments on the top and bottom show neon hot colors that play like a laser light show with the slightest movement of the opal. All colors of the rainbow show equally...super crisp and super vivid in a transparent crystal base of lustrous silky bluish white.
